Cartoon Maker Just kept crashing on me. Did not work long.

Just Curious I downloaded Cartoon Maker simply to see what was offered. All functions performed very well, however, I realized that I can already do most of this with my current photo program. Thanks for the opportunity.

Crashed every time I imported a file... Was using HD apple intermediate codec .mov file.every time crashed the program.

Doesn\'t work on G 5 PPC. So disappointed...

I have just started to utilize FotoSketcher but, as it is very straightforward and easy to work with, I have already experienced some initial success! This Photo sketch is cool my family and friends like it they want to get it

I liked the Photo to Sketch 3.51. It did better than the Print shop 22 that I have been using. The only thing I noticed is that you can\'t have any shadows in your picture or it will pick them up.

There are kiosks in malls and tourist places where you can pose for a sketch-type picture. I have had a lot of success using these public places. That was my expectation when I tried Photo-to-Sketch Std. 4.0. I was very disappointed that the output didn\'t come close to the quality of the print from a kiosk. However, the program allows a lot of tweaking and the result is an interesting rendering of the original JPG picture. So I adjusted my thinking and expectations. Yeah, Ok... I'd love to review it, but after the download I looked around for installation instructions but could not find any. Is it stand-alone? Is it a plug-in? I thought it was a plug-in, but could not find any way to "plug it in!" I'm clueless, so clearer instructions would have been very helpful in my case..

What software platform does it run on What software platform does the cartoonizer run on...is it photoshop, fireworks, corel draw?

Novice perspective I am a complete novice with VirtualDub and had no problem immediately outputting with the plugin. On the downside the audio didn't fair well but that's easily overcome with editing. Also, I may find the solution by tweaking the threshold settings but in drawing mode the lines move quite a bit from frame to frame. Example, carpeting looked like rippling water they way the lines changed from frame to frame. But hey - great results for a completely free plugin!
